On the morning of August 2nd, the Party Committee of Xiazhuang Town, Gaomi City successfully held a return visit symposium on the cooperation between Shandong Runyang and Ocean University of China at the Laoshan Campus of Ocean University of China. Wang Rubo, Secretary of the Party Committee of Xiazhuang Town, Ying Chungui, Deputy Secretary, Chen Wenshou, Secretary of the Party General Branch of the School of Environmental Science and Engineering at Ocean University of China, Jiang Wensheng, Dean of the School of Environmental Science and Engineering, and representatives from other professors, as well as Chairman Runyang and his delegation, attended the meeting together.

At the symposium, representatives from the three parties reported on the current progress of industry university research cooperation and conducted in-depth discussions on the future model and research direction of industry university research cooperation.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dean Jiang Wensheng introduced the development history, faculty, talent cultivation, discipline construction, and technological innovation of the School of Environment and Engineering at Ocean University of China. He emphasized that the research direction of the school is highly aligned with Runyang's industry, and Ocean University attaches great importance to further cooperation with Runyang.

Chen Pixian, Chairman of Runyang, introduced the development achievements of Runyang over the past decade to the attendees in his speech, and made a phased report on the cooperation between Runyang and major universities. He also stated that Runyang will provide comprehensive services and guarantees in talent cultivation, base internships, pilot test conditions, and expert workstation project promotion, laying a solid foundation for promoting the in-depth development of industry, academia, and research.

At the meeting, Wang Rubo, Secretary of the Party Committee of Xiazhuang Town and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the High tech Zone, focused on introducing the industrial development situation and outstanding geographical advantages of Gaomi City, and expressed the government's comprehensive support for universities and enterprises to strengthen industry university research cooperation, and promote the organic integration of talent cultivation and economic and social development needs.

Professor Jin Chunji introduced at the meeting the cooperation with Runyang on student internships and project research since 2018.

After the meeting, Wang Rubo, the Party Secretary of Xiazhuang Town, and his team visited the laboratory of the School of Environment and Engineering at Ocean University of China.

Through communication and exchange, all parties involved in this symposium conducted in-depth discussions on the future development trends of Runyang and Hainan University's industry university research cooperation. In the future, both sides will further strengthen cooperation in the green recycling and resource utilization of wastewater, and actively achieve the transformation of industry university research cooperation into scientific and technological innovation achievements.
